Inspired by both my doodle art drawings and the incredibly rich colors resulting from dyeing my own fabrics, Daisy Doodle was an absolute delight to create. It incorporates a variety of techniques collected over the years. I love being at the point in my work where I can approach it with a completely opened mind which allows the ideas to unfold themselves before me. Removing preconceptions opens the way for floodtides of inspiration.
Raw-edge appliqué and freezer paper piecing using my own hand-dyed fabric.
