My first thoughts of gardening more frequently conjure up images of vegetables than of flowers... based on the years and hours spend digging, planting, fertilizing, weeding, watering, waiting and then... in a wink of the eye... feeding cherished fresh and delicious produce to numerous and varied uninvited (but very sweet) members of the wildlife community. This garden of carrots was created with as many speedy techniques as I could muster as I have already spent enough time on meals for rabbits, thank you very much.
Inspiried by a doodle art design. Raw-edge appliqué and freezer paper piecing. Machine quilted.
