"Doodle Art": Doodling for me is an improvisational pen-in-hand and is ever at my fingertips. It has become a foundation
for much of my design work, most specifically in free-motion machine quilting. Recently these doodles have made their way
into the quilt designs themselves, providing another delightful source of inspiration. As they have become more focused and
refined, I find that I have become more intent on gathering inspiration and sketches to incorporate into practice doodles.
In turn, practice segments make their appearance in drawings such those seen below. All of my doodles are expressions of
harmony, cooperation and coexistence. Then manifest the nesting and nurturing of natural things, all within the framework
of another living thing - a bird, a fish, a star, - and each is a prayer for kinship.
