This quilt was my first major art quilt, both in size and exposure. It was the first to be awarded on a national level and the first to be published. The process of creating it was one of constant inspiration and childlike receptivity in order to discover the techniques necessary to execute my visions. Giving myself permission to play, even though nothing tangible may have resulted, was how I was enabled to grow. A surprise awaits all those who read down this far. If you squint, you will notice a large light subliminal figure running across the surface.
