For the 15^th consecutive year I’m participating in the Vermont Craft Council’s Spring Open Studio on Memorial Day Weekend. This is the only time each year I open my studio to share the process for making my whimsical, colorful artwork. Find me in the Rutland County portion of the Open Studio map.

I have a delightful new piece in the juried exhibit “Barn Art” at the Compass Music and Art Center in Brandon, Vermont.

This stunning exhibit by 31 Vermont artists runs now through June 16; I shared Judge’s Choice for this whimsical fabric piece.  In an April 14 review in the Rutland Herald, Victoria Crain refers to it as wacky and lovely, one of her favorites: “… to me, this barn is the work of a quilt artist of terrific skill, with a playful sense of perspective, who casts a new eye on whatever she depicts. Nothing ordinary from Reilly. Not ever.”   (May 2018 post)

The Brandon Artists Guild unveils its new Fundraiser Project, The Brandon Quilt Trail, in May.  See dozens of painted-on-wood quilt designs, traditional and contemporary, in a variety of sizes, all over town — in windows, on store fronts, and on nearby houses and barns.

I’m pleased to be in the Grand Opening Exhibit for a new venue, 77 Gallery, in downtown Rutland. The artists asked to participate – all local to our County –  represent a vast variety of media so collectively offer an exciting exhibit.

The Exhibit runs through March 30; stop by on your next Killington ski trip!

This large exhibit of over 40 artworks illustrates the ways I’ve observed my work evolve throughout my creative life in “chapters, lessons and side roads”, leading to my “Twelve Life Lessons for Creativity”.

My Studio and Gallery will be one of 18 Brandon artists and sites open to the public during the Vermont Craft Council’s premier two day statewide event, where you can visit artist studios, talk with artists and explore their creative processes across a wide variety of mediums.

My own studio is seldom open – I’m excited to have you visit my “sacred” space to chat, ask questions and see me demonstrate some of my design and fabrication processes.

Scheduled Hours: Fridays and Saturdays, 12-5pm. To visit at other times call or email; we’re happy to welcome you whenever we can.

In my Gallery I sell my original artwork, prints, cards, accessories and the hooked rugs I design for Chandler 4 Corners, a hooked rug manufacturer in Manchester, VT.
